An origin story……

In 2014 Richard Blain and Wendy Baker founded The Pilot’s Hub to offer coffee, cakes and snacks to visiting pilots while they settled their landing fees and completed other paperwork. The venture was an instant success, with the twin attractions of exceptional quality food and exciting views of the aircraft movements proving a big pull for airfield users and public visitors alike. More staff were hired and within a couple of years the business had outgrown the original kitchen.

In 2017 a sizable capital investment was made into a new, much more commercially viable kitchen, which enables the catering for the 160 covers that we now offer.
